About Me
Adam Hafner completed his B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University before coming to the Microbiology and Immunology PhD program at the University of Michigan.
He joined the Dr. Christiane Wobus's Lab in March 2022 to study the molecular mechanisms behind metabolic rewiring of host cells during norovirus infection. Since then, he has presented numerous times at the American Society of Virologists, the Calicivirus Conference, and has published his research in PLOS Pathogens.
Outside of lab he enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing video games, cooking, watching new shows, and trying out restaurants in the Ann Arbor area.
